L\u2019originalit\u00e9 de la commune r\u00e9side dans son appellation. Longtemps, jusqu\u2019au XVI\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, on a nomm\u00e9 le village de deux fa\u00e7ons : Lobaresses ou Bondigoux. Ce n\u2019est seulement qu\u2019au XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle que les deux paroisses se r\u00e9unissent suite \u00e0 un d\u00e9placement de population de Lobaresses \u00e0 Bondigoux, sans doute la cons\u00e9quence d\u2019une inondation en 1522. Bondigoux devient une commune en 1869. Le village servait de d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 aux communes avoisinantes pour l\u2019\u00e9coulement de leurs denr\u00e9es en gare de La Magdelaine. La bascule a disparu mais la maisonnette de la pes\u00e9e se dresse toujours face \u00e0
