En 1271, Alphonse de Poitiers fonde la bastide de Layrac d\u00e9pendant de Villemur. Layrac devient une commune en 1790.<strong> Elle tirera quelques temps profit de sa production de tabac jusqu\u2019au milieu du XX\u00e9me si\u00e8cle<\/strong>, on peut encore observer des
