peut s&rsquo;av\u00e9rer \u00eatre un bon moyen de locomotion*<\/strong>, surtout si l\u2019envie de la parcourir dans toute sa longueur en faisant<strong> un aller-retour dans la journ\u00e9e<\/strong>, vous titille.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>On ne peut s\u2019emp\u00eacher, d\u00e8s l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la Voie Verte, de se sentir envahir par un sentiment de libert\u00e9<\/strong> : l\u2019air qui nous caresse le visage, les paysages de notre jolie campagne qui d\u00e9filent, les bruits de la nature dont nous pr\u00eatons souvent peu attention. Et pourquoi ne pas, si la Voie Verte s\u2019offre \u00e0 nous seul, nous laisser aller \u00e0 p\u00e9daler \u00e0 vive allure. C\u2019est grisant, non ?<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Elle ne peut que vous charmer avec ses d\u00e9cors vari\u00e9s qui vous transportent au coeur d\u2019\u00e9tendues tant\u00f4t bois\u00e9es, square de la Voie (point de vue sur la ville qui se situe \u00e0 8 minutes de la Voie Le 2 Ao\u00fbt 1903 est lanc\u00e9 le projet du \u00ab tramway \u00e0 vapeur \u00bb. Il s\u2019agit en fait d\u2019une locomotive avec wagons qui sera inaugur\u00e9e en 1912.<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sur une ligne tortueuse de<strong> 45 kms, desservant\u00a0 une dizaine de localit\u00e9s entre Toulouse et Villemur,<\/strong> le train roulait en moyenne \u00e0 <strong>25 kms\/h<\/strong> mais remplissait bien son office, portant voyageurs\u00a0 et marchandises \u00e0 travers cette contr\u00e9e agricole et industrielle.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u00ab Tous les dimanches, nous le prenions \u00e0 Villaudric pour aller au bal de Magnanac \u00bb<\/em> nous a-t-on confi\u00e9 un jour.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un train peut en cacher un autre. C\u2019est bien vrai ! Quelle n\u2019\u00e9tait pas notre surprise alors en arrivant en gare de Villemur de voir qu\u2019en face se trouvait une autre gare ! <strong>Oui j\u2019ai bien dit 2 gares !\u00a0<\/strong> Car \u00e0 cet endroit pr\u00e9cis nous arrivions <strong>au croisement avec la ligne Montauban-Albi de la Compagnie des Chemins de fer du Midi.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le tortillard lui, ne s\u2019est pas relev\u00e9 de la guerre de 14, il sera remplac\u00e9 par une ligne d\u2019autobus mais nous reste le souvenir d\u2019un petit train qui, en avance sur son temps, avait \u00e0 toute vapeur rapproch\u00e9 la campagne toulousaine de la grande ville.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><b><i>Le trac\u00e9 de l\u2019actuelle Voie Verte est apparu \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle dans une vocation ferroviaire, avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du train reliant Montauban \u00e0 Saint-Sulpice. Le transport de voyageurs sera assur\u00e9 sur cette ligne pendant un demi-si\u00e8cle, avant d\u2019\u00eatre interrompu en 1938. Le transport de marchandises, lui, sera maintenu jusqu\u2019en
